In the previous episode, we saw Toni & Charlie struggeling with the atmospheric re-entry. Of course, my web comic goes on and, no fear, Toni & Charlie will not burn up coming down.
So in this episode they are saved. Well, er, sort of saved. I mean… no, I don’t want to spoil the fun here.
Apart from the main story, there are the usual side jokes in the episode. When you look at the details in the panels, the first being the old-fashioned painting in the stairwell. I’m not going to enumarate here for you. You can do that yourselves. If you want.
The second row of panels is somewhat unusual. Mainly, because of my rude decision to alternate the direction of reading. There are clues. Elementary, my dear Watson.
What else? Oh yes, I owe a big thank you to an old friend of mine: John Cooper. Normally, I do my own translation of my stories. There is something in episode 76 for which I needed a native speaker. I decided to ask John for a re-read of my translation. I guess he smiled quitely to himself, patted me on the shoulder, virtually and benevolently smiling. He tore up my translation and came back to me with a beautiful suggestion of an alliteration. I liked it at first read and dumped my own version.

Oh, one more thing: this episode is the first episode ever, of which I publish the English version prior to the German one. Especially on Social Media, I got more likes than usually.

Ein absolutes No-Go. Eigentlich.
Besonderheiten der Folge… Wer gerne Comics liest, der kennt natürlich auch die Pfeile, die auf das nächste Bild verweisen, und ohne die nicht klar wäre, in welchem welches Bild als nächstes zu lesen ist
Die Folge 75 beinhaltet ein ungewöhnliches Stilmittel: in einer der Zeilen habe ich die Leserichtung umgekehrt.
zum Eigentlich spielt man mit der Leserichtung nicht, weil es die Leser verwirrt. Ich habe es trotzdem getan, weil ich denke, dass es meine Leser verstehen.
Andere Dinge passieren auch noch, wie Ihr merken werdet. Ich möchte nicht zuviel verraten, dazu finde ich die Geschichte viel zu gelungen. Wenn Ihr anderer Meinung seid (so wie das mein Vater mit Sichereit sein wird), wenn Ihr überfordert seid, mit der vorübergehenden Umkehr der Leserichtung, immer rein damit in die Kommentare!
